High energy use help?

So we got the smart meter monitor working and it always looks quite scary. Says we have used £20.20 this week (flashes that we are over budget - though we have never set one!). I wish we could get someone out to help us and check if we are doing anything wrong! We have little to no clue about these things. Anyhow, as I said before, we have a one bedroom council bungalow. Electric only. The heating is air-source pump, which is SUPPOSED to be cheaper. I know our neighbours (also electric only) pay a lot less.
It would be great to pay less. Sadly I have a sick wife who is home all day, so the TV is on all day. So that is also an added thing.
Maybe around £90 is normal. I don't know.
Thanks all anyway

£90 may well be normal for you - don't forget you are at home all day with all the electrical needs (and costs) that are involved. Don't forget the £90 covers all your heating, cooking, washing and that as OAP'S (I assume) you get an annual heating allowance towards your costs. Do you also qualify for the Warm Home Discount of £140 ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
