It's my first post so hopefully I'm on the right forum.
Can anyone suggest a site where I can compare bank charges for paying in foreign cheques (mainly US).

Are you a business or personal?
If you are a business you need to speak to the business department before you can pay them in - expect a lot of forms such as FACTA etc etc.
Most banks charge roughly the same - about .25% min £8 max £80 with smaller charges for smaller value cheques.0 -
Not all banks accept cheques in USD - there was a thread a few days ago about someone trying to do so
