£5 Late Night London Parking

What's the deal?

Simple! If you'll be in Central London on a Thursday evening between 6pm and midnight and needing a parking space then it's possible to slash your parking costs to just a fiver.

Westminster Council is offering spaces in various car park locations for £5 for six hours.

What do I do?

Simply check the Westminster Council website before you go to find car park location.

Any catches?

This is a set fee for parking any time between 6pm and midnight so if you leave early you'll still pay a fiver.
Could you do with a Money Makeover?

I'd rather park on a single yellow or in a pay and display space for free after 6.30 ;)

I was going to say you can park on a meter for free after 6.30pm - all day on Sundays! And you save on the congestion charge if you drive in after 6.30pm on a weekday too.

Be careful, it depends where you park as to what time the controlled parking hours finish, especially if you stray in to Camden where often the pay bays operate to 20.30 . Generally all Westminster pay bays finish at 18.30. Some operate upto 13.30 on Saturday whilst other offer no Saturday controls. Residents bay vary and some have controlled hours 24/7, whilst other finish anywhere between 18.30 and 22.00.

Suggest you check the Westminster website for uptodate information.
