they have also just emailed me back to say that they didn't receive my letter of appeal stating I had purchased a ticket, but I have got an email stating they they had

Something they might have difficulty with in court.

Your next move is to defend any claim which will come 100%
The only time BW legal are not proceeding with a court claim is when they send you a final notice , which they do for the likes of premier parking solutions. In that respect they are only acting as debt collectors

So email them and tell them the whole story that I have a ticket that fell from the screen and that I contacted Armtrac to tell them?

Now that's an interesting observation! We've not noticed that before, BT.

Not really, they don't care about your story. You need to be FAR MORE ROBUST:

Do you see what we mean now? You are not writing to a 'normal' solicitor who will care!

Same as all the other Armtrac cases:

    1. scary court claim with no 'cause of action' but false added costs
    2. some rubbish in their WS and some blurry photos
    3. they lose in court or they discontinue just before a hearing.

    :D

I have emailed BW Legal and stated that I have no payment required as I had purchased a ticket and it had sim[ply fallen from my windscreen, I have also told them that their client had stated I had not logged a letter of appeal as they state they had not received one but also included the latter from Armtrac with a clear statement of receipt on it.
I am now awaiting a reply from them, I have also told Armtrac that after their comment about they don't have access to the machine and therefore no way of collecting records that as this is a freedom of information request that they have to provide it as well as my original appeal letter and t that if they cannot supply this then they need to contact someone who can.

OK, but none of that will stop the claim. So read other Armtrac defences & prepare.

    :)
