Since we signed up to a new tariff with EDF a few months ago, we were getting either called, texted, or emailed almost daily about getting a smart meter installed. Unfortunately, the new tariff had a smart meter in the T&C's. What's daft is that the meter reader who came out a few weeks ago said it's unlikely our property is suitable anyway.
We're ditching EDF and going to Bulb now - partly because of this smart meter hassle, and partly because the deal we signed up for through our existing account wasn't as good as the deal we could have got if we'd gone to EDF through a comparison site.0 -
Sorry , I almost forgot to give an update.
I was contacted via Facebook from edf . We had a conversation on Facebook messenger , and I have been taken off of their list .
It will take 5-28 days though.
