ITV Live

Hi All

I have a google chromecast and also a SMART TV, i cant cast ITV Live channels nor does the ITV Hub on the smart TV play live TV

I guess its obvious but is oit the case you cnat watch ITV Live on the hub unless your using a tablet or phone?

From what device are you casting?

Most apps on mobile devices will not allow you to cast live TV but you can pretty much cast anything running in a Chrome browser running on a PC.

thanks for your reply, i am casting from an iphone, and an android, neither work, nor does the app on the TV itself so i am assuming that ist the technology not me lol

Just download itv Hub.Or get a firestick.

Smart TV Apps associated with terrestrial TV generally don't offer a live stream as they assume you will be getting it from the aerial. The "TV Player" app can cast live ITV for a Premium cost (not worth it though). Your best option for live ITV on your TV is either connect an Amazon Fire TV/Stick or an Apple TV (5th gen). As an iPhone user, the integration through the Apple TV app works great for me but I've also got a Firestick 4K and that is awesome too.
