I am not sure what you mean by this?
The first two paragraphs of your opening post would be better written something like:
The driver recently parked on a NWCP car park. When he arrived he noticed he could pay via mobile with Parkonomy, which he did.

I then receive a PCN for unauthorised parking and when the driver checked his Parkonomy account have seen that he had entered the VRN incorrectly (he added an extra digit by accident).

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP after the election, as it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Did you reveal the driver's identity when you appealed? This is not a good idea because the keeper has protections in law that the driver does not. They are two different people. ;)

I suppose naturally in my appeal I did admit to paying for parking, therefore I suppose I admitted I was the driver. Wish I had checked this forum sooner, but this information is good to know for the future and if any friends are in similar situations.

It's not something we do, very unnatural here to admit to being the driver on appeal!

But conversely, at court defence stage we often tell people to admit to driving as they can tell a more honest account that way, and there are always grounds to defend.

So no worries. Come back here if you ever get a claim, and keep those addresses updated x 3 like I explained earlier in post #4.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

• I recently parking on a NWCP car park. When I arrived I noticed I could pay via mobile with Parkonomy, to which I have.

I then receive a PCN for unauthorised parking and when I have checked my Parkonomy account have seen that I have entered my VRN incorrectly (I added an extra digit by accident).

I have then appealed through NWCP, who in turn stated that the case could be settled for a £10 administration fee, which I felt was unfair as I had not parked in an unauthorised manner as I had already paid fully for parking. I was told by NWPC that they would continue to pursue the PNC full amount.

I am now at the stage where NWCP have passed the debt on to Capital Collect who have today sent me a Final Notice of Intended Litigation. I am happy to continue to keep fighting the charge, however am wondering what the process is with being issued a CCJ. I am currently in the process of buying a house and do not wish for this to have any effect on my credit score.

Will a CCJ be automatically given to me and effect my credit score before I am able to fight this in court? What is the best course of action at this moment in time for me to do? Just wait for them to take me to court?

Thank you in advance for any advice.

but you did enter your full vrn ,

Also, the system more than likely caused the extra digit, not the driver's finger.
