Loving this. Discussed with mum and dd2 over coffee this morning. So far for me...
1) read 20 classics
2) make 20 submissions (i'm an academic so this would be academic papers / workshop abstracts / grey literature - one year i set a target of one a month which was a challenge so this will be even more challenging, but i think very good for me)
3) try 20 new recipes nom nom
4) learn 20 piano pieces (i have just retaken up the piano after a long absence)
5) write 20 poems (i used to write 1 a week, I think 20 is a doable target)
6) visit 20 places of interest

9) walk 20k steps a day (will need to buy new step counter)
10) pick up and recycle 20 plastic bottles a week

Love this idea...only half way to my list of 20...disability means any physical challenges are out...so far I have....
1. Lose 20 pounds (which will bring me to my own target of being a 'normal' weight...down from obese iii)
2. Make 20 donations to charity
3. Write 20 letters (not eMails….handwritten...some older relatives like to get a 'real' letter)
4. Make 20 crafted items (embroidered cards...knitted hats/bags et.c)
5. Drink 20 glasses of water a week (not coffee/tea...not fizz...just good old, plain water....20 glasses a week is around 3 a day....coffee et.c will still be drunk, but in addition to the water, hoping to up my fluid intake)
6. Read 20 books ...and I think I will try to make them non-fiction (20 fiction books would be a doddle!)...this will include some I already have on my shelf and on my kindle.
7. Put 20 coins a week into my piggy bank.
8. Tell myself 20 times that I am beautiful! (Serious body issues here!!!)
9. Donate/Give away 20 books (limited bookshelf space...and I suspect new books will be given for Christmas...this will clear up space!...20 over a year is less than 2 a month!)

1 Lose 20 lbs
2 Wear 20 things from wardrobe, draws ect that haven't been worn for a while
3 read 20 books by authors new to me.
4 have 20 date nights with OH
5 complete 20 pieces of artwork and exhibit some of them.
I'll think of the rest later

I have been thinking of a manageable way to keep tabs. I have linked two with other forums that I am on. Clutter and £2 coins. I will post the updates for these on these forums and just periodically give you an update on those.
I have placed the list into my iPhone notes paid - where I can keep a tab. Will update you all weekly on how things are going.
