Anyone else having probs conecting to firefox?

I've been using firefox for months now with no probs, but this morning I got what seemed like a 'usual' update for firefox.

I downloaded it, and now when I try to start a firefox browser, the page comes up, but I get this message
Problem loading browser

Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at en-gb.start2.mozilla.com.

I tried uninstalling/installing firefox again and its the same.

I also did a spybot scan which brought up about 30 things, which were 'fixed'.

My 'Internet explorer' is fine.

Is it just me or is anyone else having problems?

    Try surfing to another site, that site may just be down.

    Its been a bit slow today for me as well but then that might be because the pc is just slow as it is

    Clear out all the temp, private data and cookies in Firefox, restart and try again... (Tools > Options > Privacy).

    Thanks for the suggestions.
    I have tried going on other sites, and clearing out temp/cookies etc, and it's still the same..

    Anything else I could try?

    A new update of Firefox has just been released so the servers are getting hammered by the Auto update at the moment.

    Download 2.0.0.10 with no problems in a couple of seconds from the auto-update function.

    Just tried using 'Help' to get an update and got this

    AUS: Connection Refused

    No probs here; there was an update issued today (version 2.0.0.10) :)
