    Hi
Well I'm just plodding on really, trying to keep spending to a minimum. Kept my shopping budget down by filling my freezer with Aldi 1/2 price foods.

I have got a couple of nights out this weekend, annoyingly right before pay day but hoping not to spend too much.

I've got around £7 in Prolific atm so hoping to get that up to £10 and cash out before 14th.

Everything else is pretty slow right now. Need to shop around for car insurance next week mines due for renewal hoping to reduce that monthly payment. I'd have liked to have paid it in full but can't really this time, def next year though.

Hoping to have my EF back up to £300 by the 14th keeping everything crossed.

Back at the gym only managed a couple of times but better than nothing.

    Hey Poppy

Well done on persisting with the gym, at least you are making that step and getting out and about with it, every visit is at least one time where you would be sat possibly overthinking things.

Hope you are feeling okay in general. You got this! :) Enjoy your nights out x

I'm doing ok thank you, trying to look at things a bit more positively.

Thank you I'll persist with the gym I know it's good for my body and mind but I'm aching so much today I'm not sure how good it is for my body lol

Feel like I'm counting down the days till pay day now.

The aching has just about worn off in time to go again tonight and ache all over again :-/ hoping it will get easier soon! Grrrr I need to remember this and not miss sessions or go weeks without doing any exercise!

  • I'm wondering if I could possibly pay my car insurance in full this time. Hmmm.... I'm due for renewal 1st March so going to start shopping around for the best deal 7th feb. As that's what Martin said was the best time frame for getting the best deal.

It would mean another month of not Being able to over pay my loan but I think that's worth it really. I will then use the monthly payment I would have used for my car insurance to set up a standing order to go into my MOT & Car tax acc so becoming my MOT, Car tax& insurance account. I need a couple of new tyres so going to use that account to buy them shortly, my car tax is due to be paid in May and I will have the full amount for that in the account by then.

Yes I think I've made up my mind I'm going to pay my car insurance in full for the first time ever :D which will mean I have no monthly car direct debits, wow! I will save monthly though as described above. Makes me a little nervous to think that I won't have any monthly direct debits just putting the money aside and making sure it's there!!!

Well it's done! I've paid for my car insurance in full. I've set up a new standing order into my saving pot for mot tax & insurance so I can do the same again next year. This is saving me around £6 a month 😁 pleases with that.
