Call the CCBC and see what they say.
Have you registered first, if necessary?
Given teh system generates the claim and password at the same time, it not working should be impossible.

    Just chekcing back
If this is a "new" claim form - and we dont know - its possible it has been issued with special restrictions, because YOU only had 14 days to file your defence following service. Youve usedf almost all ofthat time now, yes?
If so the system would not allow you to file an AOS because if its allowed, that gives you 14 more days, which is a breach of the Order

Read the rest of what I wrote
You have to consider the totality of what you have been Ordered to do. If one is to reply with your defence within 14 days, OF COURSE you cannot ack. the claim. To do so would require they extend the deadline by 14 days, taking you in breach of the courts order.
So, was it right that the court ordered within 14 days? If so, thats what you need to do.
Ack. does nothing for you, so just get on with the defnce. Times ticking.

Yes, but as I said - if the order stated you must file within 14 days you were never going to be able to get, or mke use of, the extended 14 days for Ack anyway. It is irrelevant.

Ok then, on with the defence, I will have to email this then rather than do it online

You would always be emailing it, as per the newbies thread! NOONE uses MCOL to file a defence.
