Small cracks on external render

Hi all,

Looking for some advice about some small cracks I’ve noticed on the render of a flat I’m hoping to buy. There has been an issue with especially around where the cracks are and I wondered if this could be the cause?? I really just want to get to the bottom of the issue if I can.

I can’t quite tell if it’s just because the render is fitted around the chimney breast or actually cracked. The horizontal crack is the wall where there is issues with damp. I’m hoping this won’t be a massive job as the render is not blown. Any thoughts for you lovely people would be appreciated!!

Missed out the word damp there! Issues with damp on that wall where the cracks are.
