    Hi

I do not want to upset anyone, but the laptop I have HP Envy 17in
it has served me well, so, I wanted more storage and power hopefully to last me.
I only play the seek and find games ( so nothing serious ) emails surf the net but to get the higher-spec they only come with gamers machines.
The laptop does not go anywhere just sits on the desk but do not want a tower too many wires for me

You don't need a powerful laptop for what you are doing. Here are some cheaper 17.3" laptop. You don't need to spend £2500.

    ASUS TUF FX705DY 17.3" AMD Ryzen 5 RX 560X Gaming Laptop - 1 TB HDD & 128 GB SSD £650

    MEDION ERAZER X17801 £1000
    Intel Core i7-9750H Hexa-core Processor
17.3" Full HD IPS 144Hz Screen
    Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit
    8GB DDR4 RAM
    256GB M.2 NVMe SSD + 1000GB HDD
Dedicated GeForce GTX 1660Ti 6GB Graphics

    17.3" MSI GF75 Thin 9SC-051, FHD, i7-9750H, 16GB DDR4, 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD, 4GB GTX 1650, USB 3.2 Gen1 A+C, Win10
    £1050

But obviously, it is your money at the end of the day, you could spend on what ever you like.
