Issues with mobile phone bought from Argos

Options
I really need some advice on what to do next. I bought an iPhone XR 128gb from Argos click and collect. The staff member handled it too me just as a clear cellophane wrapped box with no invoice.
I took it home and with out thinking opened it and set it up. While I was checking the settings I realised it was only a 64gb, the phone ime numbers matched those on the box. I checked my order and it was the wrong phone.

Within an hour I returned to store to be told it’s click and collect nothing to do with us, ring Argos themselves. So I went home, couldn’t get through by telephone so went on online chat. They told me I had no right to a refund because it was opened and turned on. Go to the store as it’s there issue.

I direct messaged on twitter by midnight last night they had agreed to refund me the £50 difference between the 2 phones if the store manager agreed.

I heard nothing until 3 pm when I messaged to find out what was decided. They won’t refund because the staff member confirmed they gave me the correct phone in a sealed packet sorry.

What do I do next?
