Mortgage at the start (July 2019) = £158,747 with 18 years remaining. Goal is to pay off within 10 years.
Current remaining (as of 1st April) = £148.213
Currently overpay £250 automatically each month. Looking to make a down payment of £5k this week (potentially more) from savings depending what our remaining overpayment allowance is. Will update with figures once I have them this week. Looking forward to getting to grips with being a MFW!2 -

Thank you Julicorn

Current Balance: £71,000.002 -
Hi team,
Another £547.58, which makes May total £997.58 I think.
Slightly regretting the overpayments already as I'd forgotten I had to pay car tax/insurance and then my mother-in-law needed new phone and iPad. To cut a long story short, it's come out of our account, which is fine because she'll pay us back when she can get to the bank (who know....?) but it just makes the accounts look a little borderline just now.
Still, payday tomorrow, and all the money we overpay we don't have to pay interest on anymore, so that's something to enjoy.
Hope everyone is hanging on in there, in this increasingly irritating situation.
