Number 16 here and I'm delighted to report - I've done it! My final mortgage payment of £126.92 was made yesterday, a month before I'd thought to complete it, and three years nine months before the official end.
That means I paid slightly less than I'd have done if March interest had also been included, so please could you amend my year's total to £742.75? (I think that's right).
I logged in just now, it shows my current account and... nothing! Just as if it never happened.Very weird in a way.
So before I sail off into the sunset (or more realistically, start to OP on my pension), I just want to encourage everyone to keep adding the spare pennies: I didn't start OPing till quite late in the mortgage but it's still made years of difference.
Loads of good wishes to you all, and thanks for the cheerleading and encouragement to keep going.
