It needs doing today.  The SRA are considering the complaints and will come back about it all this month.

And when you read the other threads about it, you will see how they ALL WON and how, and what their WS looked like...I was telling you what to read to know what we know.  If you want to win, read those threads.  NOT THIS ONE!

Please read the Jack Chapman threads now, and copy the complaint email and send it to the SRA tonight, it is literally copy & paste with a copy of your Jack Chapman WS.

    Done

The thing that confused me is that on the witness statement I received it did have some extra paragraphs and points when I have compared them with the other WS on this site that I have been reading which worried me as I thought maybe gladstones had started to pull their fingers out.

As the WS turned up late so in my WS i had no chance to bring up the Jack Chapman situation and the ongoing SRA investigation, how do i go about bringing that to the DJ's attention prior or on the day of the case?
Could I send them a skeleton argument prior the date?

But it's the same as all the other Jack Chapman and Gladstones WS on every Gladstones thread.

It's also identical to the WS apparently written by the Director of Horizon Parking in Tinmans45's thread

    Thanks Castle
A few more questions from me -
    1) As the WS was delivered to me late I didnt have chance to incorporate the Jack Chapman/SRA complaint into my WS, how do I bring this to the attention of the DJ before the hearing? Or would i have to raise it as a skeleton argument? Should i send as a supplementary WS?
    2) The attached agreement was with their WS, am I right in thinking that this does not prove that it is the landowner who has instructed them to manage their site? Also it does not have an end date so does this mean they havent proved it was atill in place a year later at the time of the charge?

I will start to get a very simple Skeleton Argument / supplementary ws together to run past you all so i dont tie myself in knots in the hearing, as you can tell i am getting more and more nervous leading up to it

More likely tearing their hair out!   You can stop stressing...

    Yes!

Do that but serve it (by email to court and to Gladstones) the working day before the hearing, so they can't scrabble to hide, and even if they try to discontinue that very day, you'd go to court ANYWAY and insist on ten minutes with the Judge for your listed case, to hear from you regarding the matter of your wasted costs, based upon the unreasonable conduct of the Claimant and their solicitors.

Keep the skeleton short and snappy, and why not attach the one from Tinman45's thread and state that you wish to question the witness at the hearing to explain why a WS purportedly written and signed by 'Jack Chapman' who may or may not exist as a person working for UKCPM, is a match for one written by a completely different car parking company (unconnected to UKCPM), called Horizon - copy attached from a post in the public domain.

Then attach a copy of your SRA complaint and the SRA's reply (one of many sent to posters here, and copied below) to prove there is an investigation about Jack Chapman 'signed' WS:

Subject: RE: Complaint Re: Gladstones Solicitors Limited

    Dear xxxxxxx

I am writing to you concerning the report which you made to us about Gladstones on x xxxxxxxx 2019. The matter has been passed to me for investigation. My details are provided below.

May I take this opportunity to apologise for the delay in making contact with you.

    What we are Investigating

You have reported that in two separate claims filed at the Court by Gladstones , identical signatures on witness statements have been submitted. You have raised concerns that Gladstones are adopting improper processes and may be copying signatures onto documents when the witness was not present.

We are considering a number of similar matters involving Gladstones. The information which you have provided will be considered with all of the other information we hold about the firm.

    What Next

Some of our investigations can be complex and may take several weeks or months to resolve. We will endeavour to deal with your report as quickly as possible.

We will update you again before xx March 2020.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

    Yours Sincerely

    xxxx xxxxxxxxxx

    hi @richiew2k
    Tinman45 here  :)
If your emailing SRA you will be sending email attachments - so it should be fine to ref the attachment (name the files clearly)
I just also wanted to say - try not to stress about this case and let it get you down! myself and many others are in the same boat so i hope that helps (helps me to know that others are facing the same so im not alone) lets try support each other and just put it down to "one of life's experiences"
at the end of the day its a "them vs you" - they have their story of what you "owe" but you have the right and means to fight it too - so be strong and dont let them get you shook! I know its not easy but again we're in it together
I just wrote my letter to the SRA so let me know if you want my (redacted) copy!

Really appreciate ya message mate :)
I have emailed SRA yesterday with one of the emails i saw on another thread (i have read so many threads the last few weeks not sure which it was mind haha)

I also copy and pasted my jack chapman signature onto the other document which had all three on there so that they can compare mine to those 3 also. Hopefully it makes them realise how ridiculous all the gladstones behaviour is.

With regards to the exhibits i was thinking more of when i send off my skeleton argument i wasnt sure if i could write it in a similar style to the WS albeit a lot more snappy and to the point but also include exhibits

When is your court date mate?
