It’s a big developer and other sites have offers on such as 5%deposit paid. I queried this and she said that’s really for struggling sites and this site is selling way off plan
Then you will either carry on or pull out. I wouldnt worry if you think you could of offered £5,000 or so less as in the scheme of home ownership (you will be in this one for many years) this sum of money will be signification in 5 years when you will have to find either 10 or 20% in cash to pay the equity loan off, or you will start to pay interest.
Whats the payback on £5,000 over 25 years - £17 a month?0 -
Yes, on some of the other sites my developer has incentives such as has stamp duty paid and £2k John Lewis vouchers, but these are on houses that are ready for you to move in to before Christmas.
Our site was only released mid September with the houses already selling well.0
