What flat bread and wrap recipes do people like please? I’ve actually managed to find flour and eggs!! Thought if I could I’d make and freeze some.
Also have a scone mix I bought and forgot about which is in date for a few weeks so that’s brilliant 😀 my only real issue is milk - I have lactose free. I’ve enough for a few weeks so hoping some will get on the shelves soon. I’m a bit irked people have taken it when the standard uht was gone. I do understand it though. I’ve got 2 friends who don’t need to stay home looking out for it for me. (I’ve always used fresh and uht as I regularly run out of fresh so keep uht rather than shop and spend on other things)
I have decided to hang on to the moneys I would put on my cc as extra, just until I get paid again. Seeing how much more I’ve spent on foods I may need that money in prefer not to need credit.Life happens, live it well.5 -

@cw18
i can’t have soya at all, it is actually worse than milk in some ways. So I’ve been reluctant to try others. I have an oat milk to try .....

Well, we in Belgium have been put on light lockdown. This means we have to stay at home, but can take walks around the village with 1 family member.I had a fever last night, but had a good night's sleep and this morning it's gone. I am selfmedicating with echinaforce, iron tablets, magnesium and calcium tablets, lots of water, thyme tea, and bedrest. I am currently working from home in my bed in pyjamas, seeing how this develops before I mix with family members and before I go back down to the living room and kitchen. I do not have any of the other coronavirus symptoms, but it did give me a slight fright. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.595

I started with a slighly swollen gland in my throat last night, with phlegm building up around it. That was the original symptom my lactose intolerance, although it only occured when exercising with a high heart rate. My fella and I were supposed to be meeting up for a trip out today, but I've postponed it for 24 hours (for now) while I make sure that's all it is (I don't stay off dairy completely, but am making more of an effort to do so today) as he also has to consider his mother (he's the only family member with a car, and she's over 70). I've not got a sore throat or a cough or a temperature (as best I can tell - actually waiting on a thermometer being delivered this week from an eB@y order, as the last one I had broke a good few years ago).

Gosh hope you’re both okay xx
it is early allergy season so hopefully it’s just that...
my intolerance manifested after blinding cluster headache of 6 months, any more than a few mouthfuls starts off in my sinus area which worsens to a migraine like headache. It also upsets my stomach quite dramatically- which soya also does. (Also chilli and too much garlic or other spices yet to be individually figured out)Life happens, live it well.3 -
stirchleygirl Glad to hear the good news about your pip.
Hugs to those in need of one.
The mental health programme I have been attending has been put on hold until further notice, which is totally understandable. Other events I had planned to go to have also been cancelled/postponed which also totally understandable as to why. I have things to do in doors, eg mindfulness colouring, reading to try and keep me busy. I am going to do the Earth Hour on 28th March at home. I have enough food to last me until the end of the month. I do have to pick up some medication when it is ready at the chemist.

I had a calm morning, working and trying to keep my distance from dds, who want to comfort me. Very sweet and very hard to explain to them. This afternoon I was off work and spent some time in the garden, sowing seeds. Calmly and enjoying the sunshine, which I think will do me much good
Asking dds to help with housework appears to be akin to Child abuse, if I go by their reactions, so I have told them theywill actually get more regular tasks!Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.597 -
Hi guys, keep batling and keep on spreading the word about frugal living to help others make it through these turbulent times. Many have never had to even consider alternative lifestyles because mney has been able to buy everything they needed. Now, money makes no difference if there's nothing left to buy or if you suddenly lose your income.
Frugalers usually have basic stores and these are the main things we are seeing vanishing from shelves. My own regular spermarke order has been can celled as they simply didn't have my usual shopping list for the month so we are on 'make do and use it up' for the foreseeable future.
HOW TO MAKE FLOUR TORTILLAS
2 cups plain flour (about 300g)
teaspoon baking powder
teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons veg oil
3/4 cup warm milk (about 180ml)
Mix all of the above into dough, split it, roll out into suitable sizes and dry cook in a frying pan or griddle.
HOW TO MAKE FLAT BREADS
Plain flour, salt, water mixed into a pliable dough, split and flatten into suitable sizes and then fry in an oiled pan. You can add extra seasoning of whatever you like - garlic, herbs, spices - can be served hot or cold.I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

Well, things have got no worse.Just called my GP surgery and had a quick chat. The symptoms I have are definitely NOT on the watch list for the Coronavirus (I hadn't seen them mentioned but wanted to double check). Much more likely to be 'the common cold', which is what I was getting from the NHS website. Carry on as normal, but if I do develop a new cough or a fever (or discover I've been in contact with someone with it), then I've to self-isolate and call them back.So I've been given the all-clear for business as normalCheryl5
