Help to buy isa vs equity loan

Hi just a couple questions on the differences
Am I right in thinking the isa and equity loan are separate things?
They have to be applied for separately?
They can be used in conjunction with each other?
The isa does not have to be paid back but the equity loan does?
Thanks
Matt

Yes, they're different schemes but under the same government banner, so you can find the details at https://www.helptobuy.gov.uk/
The ISA is a savings account so it's your money, but the equity loan is government money which does need to be paid back....0
