  • I think Wales & Scotland have scrapped it already but I'd vote for any party that proposed this - I mean how can you propose to build more social housing only for them to be sold off cheaply

    RTB ended in Scotland 31st July 2016. Such a pity as I had been eyeing up a relative's 9th floor flat in Milton. Wales followed suit and brought RTB to and end 29th January 2019. Meanwhile in England RTB is being rolled out even further.

    Mm-hmm and with Labour proposing the building of 100,000 new homes per year and the Lib-Dems three times that amount (from memory) the possibilities for abuse of social housing stock just keep on comin'.

    All any party seems able to do in England is keep on sticking a plaster over a gaping wound rather than address the root problems.
