I've assembled an Ottoman bed on my own and it was pretty easy and it would be even easier to pay to take it apart. So unless you suffer from a disability don't waste anymore money on simple tasks like furniture assembly.

You say it cost £120 to assemble because of difficulty assembling it. Surely it should be easy to disassemble and should just cost say £20?

I had help assembling my ottoman, admittedly (only for the couple of times it needed two people to hold bits) but it wasn't difficult and didn't take more than an hour (and I am useless at assembling flat packs) with maybe 10 mins help with the two people needed bits. Personally, rather than throw money away on sending the bed back, I'd buy stronger gas lifts myself.

I have to be honest, I wouldn't buy one again, as the bed is so heavy, I have problems even moving it an inch (and you do sometimes need to move a bed). It will soon have to be completely disassembled again.
