I would suggest that your point about 'Insufficient Signage' should be significantly longer.
Why not copy the template for that from post #3 of the NEWBIES thread?0 -
Thanks for the advice, I’ve been re-reading the newbies thread and found extra bits to add, will look through and add these and will let you know so please take a look when I post Extra Bits Added0
-
I’ve added the extra bits to the signage part of the POPLA appeal letter, plz can someone check it’s ok? I can’t add hyperlinks but will do on the actual POPLA.0
-
Won’t let me add hyperlinks but I’ll add them on the actual appeal0
-
I’ve added the extra bits about signage, should I add anything else?? Any advice is really appreciated thanks0

Are there any other appeal points from post #3 of the NEWBIES thread that you can use?
Have you read any of the sample PoPLA appeals linked from that post? Many are fully illustrated and run to over twenty pages.
Do not post links in your appeal. The assessor won't follow them. Embed images directly into your appeal pdf.0 -
Thanks, yes I’ve seen the 2 massive pdf appeals. They are very in depth. Does the length of the appeal help it? Will definitely take on board the advice and won’t put links but actual images. I’ll put it all together in a word doc then save as a pdf. Is there anything else that you can think of?0

It is widely thought that a 'comprehensive' appeal does put some PPCs of even bothering to contest it.
You need to remember that the PPC has to challenge and win every point you raise, whereas you only have to win one point to win the appeal.0 -
Ok, that’s really helpful and reassuring. This is the first time I’ve appealed through POPLA. Really hope it’s successful.
Is there anything else you can think of that I might have missed?0 -
Yes:
- POPLA will not follow hyperlinks. The Beavis case sign is meant to be the embedded image of the sign, and you need to embed images of where this was to illustrate where the car was.
- You need to show pics of where this was, and use this map I just Googled for:
https://www.excel.london/uploads/parkingmap.pdf
Was the car stopped in Sandstone Lane?
Or in the bus, taxi & coach drop off?
Does it look like P/Eye's images were taken from the SAME ENTRANCE or not (look VERY closely as this appears to be a sprawling site and I can see the PARKING FIRM 'Excel' infest the roadways!)?
Can you find us an image on Google Street View, using the little yellow man?
What did the manager of the ALOFT say when you complained about the PCN and asked for them to cancel it?
SLOW DOWN. This is not a race to submit the POPLA appeal tonight unless the POPLA code is over 30 days old. Let's work on your appeal more.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
