Nationwide H2B ISA not open yet

Hi
I applied for the nationwide h2b ISA over 3 weeks ago. I’ve received an (on the 5th November) email saying I’ll be notified when my account is open and ready to use. The email said this should be within 5 days.
I understand the high volume of applications they will be getting, but will this affect my ISA if I’ve not paid in at least £1 by the 30th if my account is not set up by then?
I’m concerned my account won’t be set up by the 30th and I miss out.
I have been on the phone to Nationwide to ask about my account status and they say it’s just because of the backlog due to high volumes of applications

If they have received the application - you have proof of that via your email - and they have confirmed that there should be no issue - they will make the opening date from when you applied and no later than 30 November.
Just don't lose that email until its sorted!
