Help to buy ISA

Me and my girlfriend are wanting to buy a house next year. She has opened a help to buy ISA a couple of months ago but has part owned a house before (with a previous partner). Will she still be eligible to get the payout at the end or should we take the money out and put it in my name? I haven’t owned a house before.

She wasn't eligible to open a HTB ISA if she'd previously owned a stake in a property, so must have made a false declaration when applying and should close it accordingly.
You, on the other hand, are eligible to open one....0
