What can I say, I'm just a dreamer. Dreaming of what I'd do with £1million from PBs gives me more joy than dreaming of what I'll do with £64.25 in 6 months.0

It's taking what seems like an eternity for my deposit actually to be earning interest. It's still showing as pending a week after I put the money into HL. Not very impressive. I seem to remember Raisin was much faster with actually depositing the money with the chosen provider.
- Your money will be sent to Charter Savings Bank on 09/12/2019 when it will start to earn interest

£5K still pending in current account earning 1.5% I presume. I wonder when money will actually leave before investment starting to earn interest date on 9/12/19?0

Apologies! Money was held up for a few days pending in current account (Santander 123) and payment (compulsory to use debit card) to HL went through today. On HL website it had shown up immediately and was transferred out of cash hub to selected savings account. Just have to accept loss of interest for six days.0

Could being a dreamer be the reason why you have to make a decision to put £5K either into PBs or to use it to earn £64.25? Wouldn't a real dreamer want to have £50K in PBs and £5K earning £64.25?
Did I just walk into a wealthy city bankers club and get sneered at? Of course I would want to have both £50k in PBs and earning £64.25. Does it make you feel better to look down on a pauper like me? Scathing comment unwelcome.0 -
Money is often not deposited until a stated date, for the Charter Savings 6 month offer it'll be the 9th
