What's the floor construction ?
How thick is the marble ?
What's the tog rating of the marble ?
Are you saying the house isn't built yet ? Or
This will raise your floor level quite a bit have you thought about that ?I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
The house is not built yet. The floor construction will be 75mm screed and 75mm concrete
Im trying to get esti.ate of how much it will cost me so i am ready for it.
My boiler is combi and apparently its not zoned if that helps.0 -

In that case what size is the floor you intend to cover and will the builder allow for enough insulation under the slab and allow access to run the pipes before they screed the floor?0 -

No, insulation would normally sit between the slab and screed for the underfloor heating to be effective, otherwise the heat would just warm the slab and not the room. Normally looking at 150mm insulation for new builds now.
The underfloor heating pipework is then clipped to the rigid insulation with the screed poured over.0 -
I dont think they will allow that. I will check0

CG is correct the insulation goes on top of the slab not underneath it, I'm also slightly confused as you say the boiler is a combi & it's not zoned yet but the house isn't built yet ??
For a start it will have to be zoned, also unless it's a small house why are you having a combi ?I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

they are cheap developer that is why its combi boiler for 3 floor home... anyways
I found a quote so far and woud like to know if it is good. based on estimated floor plan. I expect the kitchen to be smaller after draws are fitted.
