Buying a house, public sewer, seller cannot confirm whether built I've or not.

There's literally no need to jump down my throat jesus. I never said I asked them to look into the issues now did I. The sellers solicitor has obviously let the estate agents now when they have called them. The estate agents were the ones to email me saying they were looking into the issues. I didn't ask them to do so.
I understand your frustration, there seem to have been a lot of problems associated with this property.
I always remember a line Theo Paphitis used to come out with on Dragons Den - The first loss is your best loss.
If you pull out now your losses will be less than if you proceed and end up with more and more issues. This house seems to be a real money pit. Walk away whilst you have the chance. You are not even buying it at a bargain price if the valuation is under what you are offering.0 -
Going back to the sewer issue, can you see any manholes in neighbouring gardens. Sewers normally run in straight lines. You could ask some of the neighbours if they know where the manholes are. Worst case if it is under a building and there is an issue with the sewer the sewerage company may dig up your floor. They would put it right but it might be an issue.0
