Selling my FAILED MOT Audi TT

Hi,
The MOT failed this November. I don't want to scrap the car as it's still driving, beautiful interior and exterior and engine works, I don't want to invest in repairing the problems. Therefore am looking to sell as Spares & Repairs online. Need some advise as to the best way to do this, got a few questions
1. What's the best way to sell it? Ebay auction? Ebay best offer? Gumtree, Facebook, Cash on collection? Multiple listings on different sites? Want to safeguard myself and don't want returns therefore will be 100% transparent with the cars problems when listing
2. Because of the failed MOT, it's not legal to drive apart from to a garage to get fixed or MOT re test. Should I leave the trailering organising and pick up to the customer?
3. I've got the VC5 and would have to transfer ownership to the new owner on collection, I'm worried that if they drive it without the MOT illegally this might come back to bite me, thoughts?
Any other tips or advise would be greatly appreciated before I list the car

Without an MoT, it won't be possible for a prospective purchaser to have a test drive legally.
Ebay, Gumtree, whatever - but list it as 'spares or repair', make sure you are 100% clear that it is an MoT fail with an honest list of faults, as I am sure you will, and take the best price you can get. If you aren't sure what it is worth, a 7-day eBay listing with a 99p start and no reserve will find a buyer somewhere.
Be sure that in the listing or advert you make it clear that 'car must be trailered or transported away'.If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0 -
Depends on what it has failed on.0

Depending on the reason for the fail and the date of expiry of the MOT, it may still be legal to drive it on the road.0 -
No it's definitely not legal to drive. The last time I drove it was to an Audi specialist 50 miles round trip drove fine but no the MOT has expired now.0

Thank you for your useful advice! I am indeed listing the full list of faults with the photo of the MOT certificate.
Do you think I should do cash on collection only? What would you say is the best payment method? I've read that PayPal is a big mistake as there are ways people can dispute if they are not happy0 -
So again, what did it fail on?0

Repair immediately (major defects):
Nearside Front Position lamp not working (4.2.1 (a) (ii))
Electronic stability control warning lamp indicates a fault (7.12 (e))
Offside Front Anti-roll bar linkage ball joint excessively worn (5.3.4 (a) (i))
Offside Front Drive shaft joint constant velocity boot split or insecure, no longer prevents the ingress of dirt (6.1.7 (g) (ii))
Repair as soon as possible (minor defects):
Nearside Front Drive shaft joint constant velocity boot severely deteriorated insecure (6.1.7 (g) (i))0 -
Those faults would be very easy to repair. Before selling I would contact an independent garage and ask for a quotation for repairs and MOT.
If you still want to sell rather than repair, this information would be useful to any buyer."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
