It will likely cast doubt on the assessment as credible evidence in the eyes on the tribunal panel.
Thanks for that.
I took a picture of that and the cutlery and she looked at it and then didn’t copy it. She photocopied the psychiatrists letter. That was all.0 -
Brief update
I had my meeting with a local lady that’s lottery funded came to visit.
I’d called dwp yesterday to ask for an explanation over the phone and she wasn’t best amused as said they lie! I’d highlighted some of the reason why I’d thought was inaccurate and dwp said they were noting. I’d said nothing I’d not said at the meeting. I’d said I wanted to appeal in writing and the dwp gave me an extended 30 days from yesterday but I was quite clear I did not want them to start re looking at my case until I’d sent written reply and further evidence. Stress of this has made me seek an appointment with my psychiatrist and maybe re look at medication!
I then got a text saying they were re looking at it which caused me great anxiety that I’d messed up!! Called back only to be told they would not look at it until I’d sent evidence or the 30 days were up and if I needed more time to call and explain I’d maybe not had the psychiatrist letter or even appointment.
I’m not being lied to am I? They said calls were recorded and second person said they added a note if called to query that the above was correct and explained it as I’d understood it!!
Jesus..
They make this hard!0 -
Dwp offered the initial assessors report unprompted and are sending that out.0

Mandatory Reconsiderations take around 10 weeks. If they don't log it this period will not start. If you get information back to them within 30 days you should be fine. They make this hard!Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0 -
Getting a psychiatrist appointment and most likely a prescription as my heads frazzled.
That should be within the thirty days but dwp lady in fairness was quite helpful and said that can be extended with a valid reason. I’m paying to see specialist to speed up as twelve months wait otherwise!
Lady that came out today was amazed I’d got no points!!
I’ve pill pots and my wife had to administer diabetic lotion to my feet as nearly lost em through infection a few months ago so to get zero is mad.
Feel genuinely upset for anyone that goes through this process at their lowest ebb.0 -
Hi,
belated follow up to this. I eventually received the assessors report at second time of asking. I was granted an extension to write my reply. A great work of fiction it was too. I replied and countered every point on a three page letter, including new drs evidence (re foot care) and an up to date psychiatrist report and prescription for mental health reasons (was granted an extension to allow this to be included as I had to pay privately to speed up process). That report versus the assessors report was borderline comical.
Was very surprised to have the decision overturned at the mandatory stage. I received points for things I wasn’t expecting and didn’t get for things I was..
I didn’t get the full amount as I’d planned my journey to the centre, get circa £220 a month now. I didn’t take it any further.Just wanted to thank those that had helped initially and perhaps provide hope for those that maybe thought against the ‘journey’.2
