Fineco bank - waiting time to receive bank transfers?

Hi,
Has anyone experienced long waiting times when transferring euros from an Italian bank account into their Fineco account?
I read a few reviews on trust pilot which do not make me feel overly comfortable, but most are transfers from UK accounts (similar story experienced by a person who posted on this forum)

If it's days it's fine, but I read about weeks...
I would need to transfer quite a large sum from an account in euros to Fineco...

Is it Fineco bank day today?
You said in your other thread
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6074088/fineco-two-different-ibans-which-one-is-right
that you have just opened an account with these people then post this to say that you have read a few reviews on trust pilot which do not make you feel overly comfortable,
In this situation, why did you proceed to open the account?0 -
Hi,
It’s all about the timing.
I read the reviews after opening the account... I have known Fineco for years. So the brand game me confidence. I knew they were part of UniCredit group, the largest bank in Italy.
Reason for opening a new € account with quite some urgency:
I currently have another Italian bank account, which I have had for years, but as I’m no longer a resident in Italy, they have asked me to close it ASAP. Or they will do it. I’m afraid they might block it with the money in it. Hence the need to open an account that I can open while resident in the UK to transfer all the € funds to. And as a non resident, Fineco seemed like the best option - for all the other ones I would need to travel to Italy and visit a branch etc.
Eventually I’ll need to convert it all into £ and move it to my UK account.
However I’ve now read the forum on trust pilot and I’m clearly worried...0
