Did the OP get any costs, for both hearings?!
No, there was only one hearing and it was brief and over the phone, and then adjourned.  The OP has had enough and wants to put it behind him. so he won't be writing to the court to try to get costs for that short hearing now.

The victory is sweet enough, especially after [Removed by Forum Team] own involvement and WS and attempt to get a grand in costs by passing aspersions on the credibility of the Defendant.  All BW Legal and Britannia's time and costs have been wasted and we have learnt that they don't seem to want to divulge the landowner authority for this location, and don't like it pointed out that their ANPR cameras films cars on the public road, outside of the private land.
According to their LinkedIn profile, [Removed by Forum Team] is the senior insolvency solicitor at BWLegal (note to MSE: this is publically searchable information and probably also available via the SRA website), so why would a senior insolvency solicitor be representing them in a PPC case?

Is that how he was even able to pull the grands worth of costs out of the air? Because he's some senior solicitor that deals with financial companies the vast majority of the time?

He wasn't representing them, he signed the WS.

He also signed the documents for the Southampton application case that I attended and whilst he is an insolvency solicitor, this is what BW Legal do for parking firms and it's lucrative work.  So sometimes, you get a BW solicitor signing the WS and whacking in a huge costs assessment.

Thanks @Coupon-mad - it's a shame this country's legal system is becoming more and more like that in the USA and allowing that kind of crap to be perpetrated by a company against an individual.
