I would like to join this if I can, 2020 is the year that I am really starting to take control of my finances and find myself getting annoyed when I know I have just overpaid for something or paid for something I know longer use!

Not sure how many 20ps I will get as we are moving away from cash but if I can add £20 to the pot I will be chuffed :)

Oh, my Gran always did this. Always a jar full of 20ps for a rainy day. I used to love counting them as a child . What lovely memories it brings back.

I probably won't take part myself this year. I use cash so rarely I'd by lucky to save more than 20p doing it!

  • Ooh I have a 20p collection too, no idea when I started about 3/4 years ago now. I'm trying to fill a 3ltr brandy bottle, I'm up to the neck and it feels like I've been stuck for ages.
Had a count over Christmas and had a massive £427.60
I'm hoping to fill by the end of the year, but undecided on what it's going towards

Well guys, after a couple of no money days, I went shopping, and got £1 worth of 20ps to bring home in my change. Yay
