Someone said to me in October, as a throw away comment, that they save their 20p coins in an empty steredent tube and that each tube held £20. Having filled one tube and now started on a second one, I can confirm that they do, indeed, hold £20.

I will start my saving again on 1 January :T

                                    Hi Purplemumof2,

I'm new to MSE and have just discovered this challenge. I would like to join please.

I've started saving my 20p coins over the Christmas holidays. Only have 15 so far but I think it's a good start.

I'm going to aim for a total of £250 - ambitious perhaps, but I'm a cash spender so I think I can manage it.

                                    Cheers,
                                    Aidan :)
