OK, do as I advised above and state that if forced to have a telephone hearing then you agree to provide your phone number to the court and it is xxxx xxxxxx but you firmly believe this will take two hours to do justice to the defence and you believe a remote hearing will be difficult for you and your husband to follow.

In the copy you separately forward to the Claimant's solicitors, redact your phone number.
Ok Thank you, I will do that now, if I may ask, when they give dates and say you have 7 days, is that from the date on the letter or when you receive it? I only got this letter today (18th) and it was dated the 13th.

Just for the records, I received this from PP Legal, a response from my email to them asking them to cease and desist.

We write further to your email of 11 May 2020 and apologise for the delay in responding to the same.

We can confirm that following your above referenced email we reviewed the above referenced Parking Charge Notice via our and Premier Park Ltd.’s systems and have concluded that we have been erroneously instructed in relation to the same.

Please note that we, have today, rectified our systems and closed the above referenced Account ensuring that no further action is taken in relation to the same.

Please note, the erroneous referral occurred due to the above referenced Parking Charge Notice being reclassified on Premier Park Ltd.’s systems which marked the same for referral to ourselves.  Please note, we receive daily instruction files from Premier Park Ltd and action the same in accordance with our instructions.

Please note that all allegations of harassment as stated or otherwise are denied. In response to the allegation of harassment, note that Section 1(3)(c) of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 (Act) expressly states that a course of conduct that someone alleges to be harassment will not be deemed so if the person who pursued it shows that in the particular circumstances the pursuit of the course of conduct was reasonable. We maintain that our corresponding with you following our instruction in this matter was reasonable; we further note that you have failed to highlight the above erroneous instruction in a timely manner choosing instead to not mitigate the effects you are now claiming.

Under the circumstances, our course of action has been entirely reasonable and under no circumstances meets the high threshold of harassment as defined in the Act. We recommend that you seek comprehensive independent legal advice on this matter from a registered and qualified legal practitioner.

We apologise for any confusion and/or inconvenience our correspondence has caused and can confirm that you will not receive any further correspondence in this matter from ourselves. Please note, that your Personal Data will be retained and removed from our systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy which can be found at https://www.pplegal.co.uk/privacy-policy.

Should you require anything further from ourselves and/or have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us.

Premier Park Ltd and Premier Park Legal are one and the same!  In fact, PP Legal is not a company registered at Companies House.

'Legal' is no more than a juvenile attempt at a 'frightener'.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

No because it's not PPLegal who were running the claim.  PPLegal sent out demands during the course of a claim already happening.

    Maybe reply back and say:

As PP Legal is not a company registered at Companies House and appears to be a trading style of Premier Park Ltd,  I take it from the jumble of words you've just sent me that the claim is discontinued.  I will show the court because it seems you failed to file a copy even though you are the Claimant using different letter heading.

(then email a copy to the court stating it seems Premier Park are not continuing but failed to file this letter with the court, so you are...).

Sorry for the confusion, yes this is from a second set of debt letters I have received over the last couple of months from PPLegal on top of the court case already in motion.
So I should be cheeky enough to email them back & the court? Suppose I have nothing to loose.
Would I also need to send it to BW Legal?

You must send a copy of everything you send to the court to the Claimant and vice versa.
