Got a couple more over the past week

Then yesterday, took my daughter to a hospital appointment and decided rather than battling for a parking space I would take the tram. Paid for our tickets by card and collected them from the tray, there is a £2 coin in there that I am assuming was rejected or given as change at some point. Well its mine now, so in to the pot it goes!

Saw one in the office at work so swapped it for £1 coins. However I gloated to a friend that I had it and she then was given 4! I went to complain in the office and she found another one. Gloating once more, another teacher said she had one in her class. Managed to snaffle 3 today - 1 plain, 1 Charles Dickens and 1 First World War (flags). This takes me to £60 in total.

Will have to make sure I have change at the ready - I still owe £1 for the last one! ��

I haven’t done this for a few years... had forgotten about it (still don’t spend £2 coins but had forgotten the £2 club on here until I saw a Facebook post) please can I join for 2020? ThanksEdit: just checked my history... 2012 was the last time I signed up! ��

I have managed to pot another 3 coins today. All plain again but adding up nicely now.

Ending January with another 5 coins potted. 4 plain and one Charles Dickens one.

Think that takes me to about £70 or so. I am writing how many coins go in the pot whenever I add to them but not really keeping a full running total as I want a nice surprise at the end of the year :rotfl:
