New plug for Christmas tree lights

We've lost the plug for one of our sets of christmas lights. It plugs into a little black box joining the wires from the Christmas tree. Can anyone tell me what they are called please want to see if I can get a new one.

If that's the christmas tree light controller, it probably plugs into a plugtop power supply (wall wart) and as these are completely non-standard you will need to find the original

The bit on the right hand side of the pic needs something to plug into with a three point plug on the end lol.

It's not like one of those, it needs a hole to plug into rather than there being any holes on the bit we've got.



I don't think we will be able to find it Owain it's not with any of the other Christmas stuff. Hubby put the lights into separate plastic buckets with lids on and this one was missing.


Looks like we'll have to buy a new set of lights.

Don't think so Ian, we've got the prong on the bit we've got and need something with a hole in it to plug it into.

I'm puzzled about which bit you're missing, as you're showing a plug next to the black box in your photo. Can you draw a sketch of the whole circuit (lights to box to plug to bit that plugs into the wall) and highlight the bit that is missing?
