Samsung Galaxy S7
I have a S7 which I love using, but the battery is very poor.
I use my phone mainly for social media and apps (banking / surveys etc)
Does anyone have any tips on how I can get the battery to last longer?
If I need to get a new handset are there any that work better with a lot of apps ( 60+)? It would need to be android smartwatch friendly. I would have a budget of £400.
Thanks

Buy a Mobile with a big battery like the Motorola Moto G7 POWER 5000mAh battery.

I bought a Samsung A70 this week. List price £369 (although £50 off this via Amazon is easy). Price with Samsung £229 including £100 for returning old phone (which must turn on and be in ok condition). New phone has a 4500 battery. Early days but pleased with price and performance thus far.0

Factory reset phone and buy a new battery would be my first choice .0

Can recommend these. I bought one for myself earlier this year (£160) the battery last ages and charges fast. I'm a Motorola fan, it's my third of the make, previously had Samsung.
My wife has had battery problems (iPhone 6) had a new battery fitted but same problem, it drains quickly. She now has the same phone as me, now a happy bunny.0 -
I had a Samsung Galaxy S5 which struggled, but I've recently changed to Google Pixel 3a and battery life is amazing.
Even with a heavy day's use it doesn't need charged until night time.0 -
Google Pixel 3a is quite a good purchase a your budget. I think it might satisfy your needs.0

If it's just the battery, just replace it - various outlets including carphone warehouse for £40This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
The most painful point of all androids - long term usage. From my experience I'd recommend you to reset your phone to factory defaults if you still want to use it on everyday basis - it should slightly increase UI responsibility (less lags) and increase battery life because of optimized energy consuming (as you'll have "fresh" device)
Actually having a budget of 400 pounds you can think about galaxy s8 / s9 (they are really so cheap now! :j)0
