Last week I was in Clearwater and used a TD Bank ATM for a Halifax withdrawal of USD$200. I had been under the impression that TD Bank had one of the lowest transaction charges. The fee, which was only disclosed on the last screen and I could see no way to then cancel the withdrawal, was $6.95. I felt I had been caught.
That's good to know now Westin, before I was earning into my Canadian bank account I would use (canadian) TD to withdraw from my UK MBNA card as low (like $2) fee and I could take more than the $300 out at a time. Thanks to money saving tips and debt repayments/becoming debt free I have been able to work and travel for the last 4 years visiting 12 countries and working within 3 of them. Currently living and working in Canada  :dance:0
