Back from last trip to the office working from home next two days. Nice trip but knackered now.
Plastere starts 6/1 probably best as we won't be there also get time to move stuff around a bit. Carpenter can do new ladder and tart up loft hatch so better then nothing.
Still need a sparky but after Xmas had enough now.
Got two more Xmas present today and need to get something sorted tomorrow from my mum to dg, all been on expenses but did buy dinner tonight a Greggs chicken bake in Iceland cheap though. Also won 5 stamps in one go at Nero now have three free drinks. Need to bring my own mug I would get more that way. Need to buy one first.
Dg is on her way back she's tried the hot tub it's all good. Can't share more pictures as used my photo bucket allowance.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Not much work done today and manager said we could finish early. My job isn't busy yet so all good.
Packed just hope dg can take some of the presents. Eaten so much crap put on so much weight it's horrible. Still after New Year all go doe bootcamp and back into that gym we'll get into new gym.
Got all my presents sorted out DGs arrived today but took a picture of it as it was too big to take over, and it was a bit silly as won't need it. Not sure I have enough clothes but all ok. Need to buy a birthday present for my friend in Denmark and something for my dad but can do that Sunday. maybe even look SATURDAY, look forward to seeing the family just hope dg is ok. Going to be hard for her this up year without her mum.

Happy new year to you too Moneyfordreams hope you're feeling better.
Work was slow yesterday couldn't concentrate and the office was dead. Been allowed to work form home today which is great even if I couldn't go down to the house. We will be going down tonight after dinner my friend is still down there then back Monday morning. Next week I Get to go down Thursday getting lift with my friend so we don't need to bring both cars up.
MBNA awarded my exDH £461 in PPI they took £50 for tax but might be able to claim that back. Nice bonus I do remember him having it when I moved to the UK and I got him to cancel it. I'll spend it wisely one something nice for me or the house.
Dg is really struggling again obviously it's the time of year and not having her mum around. She is cancelling golf on Sunday which is such a shame as I know she'd have enjoyed it. Her knee is bad but she's not doing anything about it but does have physio next week. She claims she doesn't like her job but I think it's just going back to work after the holidays.
Best crack on with work got a conference call soon.Save £12k in 25 No 49

I am not sure if they will download properly or not we shall see.
Got the son of our hairdressers coming out tomorrow to look at loft hatch. Other carpenter could only replace what was there nothing else so not really what we wanted as it is so small the hatch.
Also got a recommendation for an electrician hopefully he will come Friday to take a look that is really next step after plastering on Monday. Forgot to write that we had a structural engineer out and the kitchen wall isn't load bearing so we can just rip it out which will be a lot cheaper obviously. Only spent £75 on wall so far and plastering is less than £500 so all good.
Sad news on Legal Research and Client care the courses have ended and its £116 for each to extent. Now I really should do this as I am so close and then if I ever want to do the rest I can. Maybe the PPI money could go towards that money I never really had.

Sounds like a prefect use for the PPI money. x1 -
Plastere working on house today, quote for loft hatch £290 incl the actual ladder the other guy wanted £100 and we had to by the ladder just a pure replacement not enlarged and able to pull down. My table will cost £15 to fix so that's good news too. I can get that sanded and treated and looking nice again.
Electrician will quote soon for all of the work he seemed great. Also got confirmation that my friend will do the windows and another friend will quote for the building work on the kitchen. He is excellent so very happy with him taking a look next weekend.
DGs uncle will do the painting so we should now move forward quite quickly.
Approved to work from home this Monday so that's me at the house Thurs to Tues next week so nice.
Spent £117 on hot tub bits over the weekend they were filters and chemicals much needed. Will last two years the filters maybe even three,
Dg on her way home easy dinner of hm cottage pie bulked cooked a while ago and lunch ready for tomorrow 1/2 jacket with bolognaise sauce.
