I'm not sure if this news relates to C19 temporary measures only, or permanent changes:

The article suggests the congestion charge is increasing to £15 per month....I guess the reality just does not compute to an American
    I think....

Should Tesla be worried? At last a serious challenger to the M3.

Tesla is now facing the issue of intellectual property theft other western manufacturers have battled for years. One has only to look at Xpeng’s range of cars to see where their inspiration came from.

I though Tesla released most of their patents so that other makers could learn and compete? Musk wants competition because it means that vast numbers of less polluting vehicles will come all the sooner.

It should only be 2 - 3 years before new BEVs are cheaper to buy than new ICE vehicles, as well as being cheaper to run. I haven't used any grid electricity for my car since about mid March. 4.7 miles per day going to my allotment plot taking water for the greenhouse & cold frame as somebody stole the tap from my 1,000 litre water butter and drained it early March.

The electric car threat to Tesla may not come from the old guard at all as the Chinese have now caught up with FSD tech and seem to be matching or beating Tesla on every metric. Is it time to sell my Tesla shares as after all Elon himself says they are overvalued?

All this streaming information from around the car is processed through Nvidia's new Drive AGX Xavier self-driving computers – the P7 is the first car to use it. Capable of performing 30 trillion operations per second while consuming just 30 watts of power, it's Nvidia's answer to
Tesla's Full Self Driving boards. It'll be interesting to see how close the Nvidia hardware comes to the Tesla system, particularly since Elon Musk predicted it'd take any other company until 2022 to build something to equal the current Tesla gear.

It'll be interesting to see if Xpeng can produce them in significant numbers. So far they seem to be a very small manufacturer.

The FSD hardware isn't that important, it's the software that is still lacking. For that Tesla, with nearly a million units in the road, most of which are able to contribute to training the software, is in a pretty good and unique position.
    8kW (4kW WNW, 4kW SSE) 6kW inverter. 6.5kWh battery.

Which two countries do you always think of together ...... yes of course, Brazil and Wales, and not just when talking about great footballing nations:

Brazilian buses to help drive down cost of lithium-sulfur batteries

British lithium-sulfur (Li-S) battery manufacturer Oxis Energy has revealed how Brazil’s public bus fleet will help it drive down the cost of its products.

Huw Hampson-Jones, CEO of the Oxford-based company, told pv magazine in February the company was planning to ramp up production of its Li-S battery cells in planned factories in Brazil and Wales as it continued to chase a goal, announced in 2015, of a $250/kWh price ceiling by this year.

The company yesterday announced it had negotiated a 15-year lease with Mercedes Benz Brazil to use an idled production site belonging to the German carmaker in Juiz de Fora, in the state of Minas Gerais in southeastern Brazil.

Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
