Yes, it's been over 16GW since I first checked earlier this morning. Sadly, burning coal to make up for lack of sunshine, though

Gridwatch only goes up to 20GW. It shows metered, but not embedded, generation.

There seems quite a discrepancy between the Gridwatch and Drax Electric Insights sites.

The embedded generation comes off the total demand on Gridwatch.

I am seeing 16.9 GW of wind on Gridwatch and 21.24 GW on Electric Insights. Are you saying the difference is embedded generation?

I believe so. The embedded generation come off the total demand as it gets absorbed at DNO level (33,000V and below).

If you hover your cursor over the "wind" dial at https://www.gridwatch.templar.co.uk/ you get a pop-up tip that says (I paraphrase) "there's another 30% from embedded generation that isn't included in this dial".
