Heating fault reason to refuse/return car?

  • I'm having similar problem. On manual full heat, all vents on left half of car blow hot air, all vents on right side of car blow slightly warm. Also aircon was regassed 6 weeks ago after complaint to dealer, only to be empty again. Car went back on Monday, found leak on and fitted new condenser. However, after having car for 5 days, I've been informed can't fix heater issue as not an approved Renault dealer and advised to see my nearest one under their carplan. On that basis, depending what they say is wrong with it, that would be grounds for rejecting car if cannot repair.

Ken, this would probably be better as a new thread in the motoring forum.  We will also need more information about what make and model of car?
    When did you buy it?
    Where did you buy it?
    What age, condition, mileage?
    What did you pay?

    What warranty is there?
