Hi,

I need to appeal to POPLA today about my private parking charge issued by MET Parking services. A similar case was discussed here lost against POPLA hxxp://!!!!!!/37btXVD

My other entry in pepipoo forum: hxxp://!!!!!!/35dnwzM

At the moment I am collating evidence in the light of the guidance here:
hxxp://!!!!!!/32SwII3
and on newbies page of MSE forum.

My first informal appeal was around the driver assumed that there are two separate car parks and he spent different times in each one. I've provided the receipts from two different stores located in two different car parks.

Is the attached NTK is POFA compliant?
Could help me with this, please?

Please find all relevant docs below:

    You cannot post live links

Host the pics on Imgur and add a dead link for each one , changing http to hxxp
  • Added links but can't add links to other sources.
I will add my POPLA appeal draft below. Though I will need to remove links as forum doesn't allow me to share them even with hxxp.
  • Here is my popla appeal draft:

  • Thanks for adding the links.
I have to submit this today -as sometimes they challenge the appeal when it was made after 28 days period and MET parking is not one of the easy ones!

I appreciate your comments and inputs to support my appeal!
    Thank you.
  • Sorry to bump this up but need to submit the appeal today, Could you please look at my draft appeal and make some comments?

MET are one of the easier ones - as you will have read on that other thread you posted on, where they gave up upon seeing a forum based PoPLA appeal.

Well, I would like them to do the same in my case but, they obviously didn't meet POFA requirements in that case. I can only say "fingers crossed" by looking at that.

Appreciate any inputs about my draft appeal provided above.
    Thanks

    POPLA Appeal last day
No it isn't. A POPLA code works until day 33.

No they don't. A POPLA code works until day 33.
and MET parking is not one of the easy ones!
They are! The retail park can cancel this on Monday/Tuesday with one email, as long as you have NOT put in a POPLA appeal, so this is why not to rush that last resort.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • Thanks for the replies. I've been chasing Savills to get this cancelled. But no confirmation so far.
On the other hand, I've submitted the appeal and received a response from MET via Popla.
Below is the correspondence so far.

They didn't provide a proper contract to define the boundaries to indicate the landowner authority.
They also couldn't prove that the driver made a double entrance within the indicated time window. I had provided a receipt to indicate the driver shopped from somewhere else on the same day within the indicated time.

Could you raise some points to help me to make a proper comment, please?
