Apple TV, activate free 1 year trial?

Tenth Anniversary 100 Posts Name Dropper

Just purchased a Mac air that has a free one year trial of the new tv service, but I can't see how to turn it on, far I have updated my software to the latest version and now have the tv app,I have opened the app & scrolled down to the"free trial" icon but not clicked as that says 7days free then subscribe. sooo any pointers would be welcome. (I have set up my Apple ID & added a credit card ) thanks

    Now sorted! after a chat on the apple support page with Tony & downloading a photo of my receipt ,I was sent a code to use on the app store, Thanks for the ideas ,
