Now that I'd like to have seen! Didn't someone post recently about a cannabis-farm house that contained a horse? Not the same house was it?.... this is the post....
Never brought a house with a Cannabis Grow, but I've seen plenty of them with my job. They can pop up anywhere. One particularly memorable experience was Cannabis Grows in a beautiful detached 5 bed House - they had Cannabis growing in every bedroom, in the loft and then also 60+ plants growing in the Cellar (which had open tombs/passageways running to the nearby local church!).
The entire house was dangerous. You had to walk extremely carefully upstairs or you'd fall through the rotten floorboards.... Job became even more Bizarre when we discovered they had an Argentinian Pony living in the house...:rotfl::eek::beer:
If I were you I'd pull up your carpets in each of the rooms and have a good look. Might also be worth getting an Electrician in to check your wiring. Definitely make sure you have working smoke alarms just in-case any wiring has been bodged/over-taxed and becomes a fire-hazard.0 -
Yes, one a few weeks ago. Middle aged couple. Saw them pull up at the bottom of the drive and they spent a few mins staring and pointing at the house. Watch them walk up the drive and then look in the window. Like, full on faces pressed up against it, whilst I am sat next to it inside
Anyway they came in and I showed them round, they were making positive statements so all sounds good. Then they asked if they could look round themselves. The house is a tiny 2 bed newish build, no valuables knocking about, so no issues there. They went upstairs and I could hear them talking and walking about. After a few mins it had gone absolutely silent. I thought they had left so I popped upstairs and they were both lying on my bed. Like, full on lying on it. just chilling as if they already owned the place. No embarrassment or anything except on my part.
They scarpered a few minutes later and we never heard back.:j:jOur gorgeous baby boy born 2nd May 2011 - 12 days overdue!!:j:j0 -

Parents sold their old house in mid 80's and my mum was devastated when she heard the woman say she wanted to rip out my mum's beloved Aga. The same house came on the market 30 years later and the Aga was still there. No pics of the bathroom which means I guessbit was still a dark burgundy.
Had a viewer come and look at our house, and our youngest cat decided he wanted a cuddle (does this a lot) so he jumped up into the gentleman viewer's arms.
Had another viewer who foolishly let slip how big a deposit they had which didn't help when they tried to argue down a silly low offer asvtheir onevand final bid. Didn't help that they had to run everything via their parents (early 30's) and were so indecisive about the littlest thing.May you find your sister soon Helli.

We had a viewing with the owner of what looked liked a lovely house albeit in need of some TLC the owner of the property showed us around whilst telling us he would have preferred to past the house to one of his daughters but they weren’t interested but since his wife died (in the house) he felt lonely in the house. He then went on to explain that the house had been built originally by his great great grandfather, he’d been born in the house both his parents had died in the house and his elder brother had inherited the family farm which surrounded the house but as second son he’d got the family home. He then dragged out all the records of the house showing how it had been extended over the years, we were there nearly 2 hours!!
When the EA phoned asking for feedback I told them to stop him showing the house as it was never going to sell, it’s still on the market over 6 months later0
