I thought l tried to do everything right by the law but delays at DVLA have caused me this grief.Anyone understand and has advise on my predicament.

The bottom of that page specifically deals with those who do not have alog book or the log book is not in their name.

Refer to part 3 of form V890 for a clear definition of what declaring sorn means.

Even if the SORN was in place, it would still be clamped based on where it was parked - not off road.

Before seeing this post, i looked at their post history and noticed the trend. Reported them now
