PCN Appeal Ignored??

Thanks for reading. I looked at the Newbies PCN Thread and unfortunately couldn’t find what I was looking for.

My car received a windscreen PCN FROM Care Parking. An appeal email requesting POPLA code and not disclosing driver of vehicle was sent. Email was acknowledged. This was 7 weeks and no further emails have been received. Today I received a NTK letter demanding monies to paid in the next 14 days. I never received a response to the appeal.

Please could anyone advise what I should do next? I am loathed to pay this as I this I could win I if I took it further but I am no legal genius and have no idea how I can hit these guys without some really good advice

just appeal the NTK with the blue text template , as KEEPER

this will be rejected and a popla code issued

just make sure you appeal in the manner they wish, online , email , or post, but only use what is allowed to be used as detailed on the NTK


I assume this is METROLINK ? if so , read other METROLINK threads too , whilst waiting

Thanks for your reply. The NTK details how to contest the fees etc. But this was done when the fees were £60. They never came back with an outcome of appeal or the POPLA code that was requested and now they have increased the fee to £100. So appealing again seems to mean the reduced rate is now out the window??

The NTK is from Care Parking not Metrolink.

I know its Care parking who issued the NTK , my point about METROLINK was that it may have been their car park, at a station or whatever (its only controlled , not owned , by CARE parking)

the windscreen ticket was for the driver, forget about it, concentrate on this NTK that came to the keeper , not the driver

appeal as KEEPER like I said, with the blue text template , appealing the postal NTK (at this point nobody cares about what has happened so far, the keeper is starting from scratch in response to the postal NTK)

You mean they sent a NTK anyway? They were right to do so after a windscreen PCN even when an appeal is in. But reiterate the appeal and you will get the POPLA code.

We assume the NTK is on-POFA worded, as Metrolink is not 'relevant land'?

Already did read it as per my original post. Nowhere does it cover an appeal being ignored....hence my questions.

As Redx said earlier, the keeper now appeals with the blue text template appeal.
