You've clearly spooked them in some way. Their jugular remains exposed! :)
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • Hello all, a quick update on the complaint my husband made to the SRA (sorry I can't find a Gladstone/SRA specific thread). He got a letter from SRA today saying :

I am sorry for our delay in contacting you in connection with the concerns you have raised.

I have carefully considered the information you have provided concerning the witness statement you have received from Gladstones Solicitors Limited (the firm) and the concerns you have about the firm’s practices. I have decided that your concerns need to be investigated further.

Information about our investigations can be found on our website at https://www.sra.org.uk/sra/decision-making/guidance/investigations-gathering-evidence

    What we will do next

We will pass the report to another Investigation Officer to look more closely at your concerns. At this stage, we cannot give you the name of the Investigation Officer who will be investigating the matter. However, upon receiving the matter, they will review it and aim to contact you by 4 March 2020

Good, that ties in with the original complaint.
