Scotland parking fine

Okay I will do.
Do Gladstone’s have the capability to take someone to court in Scotland. I have checked on the law society of Scotland and they are not registered. I then found the solicitor who works for Gladstone’s on the law society website and put his name into the law society of Scotland and he is always not on their showing both him and Gladstone’s can’t practice law in Scotland? Is this right0 -

Gladstones will contract the work out to a Scottish legal if they are stupid enough to go ahead0 -
You're totally overthinking this. It's a try-on, hoping you'll be naive and under informed to be frightened enough to pay up.
There is no history of Gs pursuing any Sheriff Court cases in Scotland, and no history of this one-horse PPC doing so (to my knowledge) in England/Wales where pursuit would be infinitely more simple and less costly. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thank you. You guys have really helped. I have been worried sick over this the last few days and was just going to pay to get rid of it
But will definitely holding out to see if anything else comes through0 -
Please do make the complaints we have suggested.
Please also note that it looks like Scottish MPs have sold Scottish motorists down the sewer, and keeper liability will soon become law north of the border.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

I seen that it’s coming in shortly and currently at stage 1
- I think Iv read every single paper on Scottish law regarding parking possible in the last 24 hours to try and have some understanding haha
I will be making the complaints suggested
Thank you all again0 -
And read CEC16's thread to learn why they cannot change £100 PCN to £160 due to two statute laws and one (England & Wales) Supreme Court case law.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It might well be, but it won't be retrospective - and PPCs are likely to have to change all their signage and paperwork to reflect any new law. So it will likely take months before they can successfully pursue keeper liability north of the border. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. You need do no more than follow Fruitcake's advice in post #7 and point out that the address is outside the jurisdiction of the English courts so why are they referring to county court and misleading you?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
